Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Kampala, Uganda

A leading online gambling company expanding our presence in East Africa, committed to delivering exceptional gaming experiences and fostering responsible gambling. As part of their growth strategy, they seek a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations in Kampala, Uganda.

Job Summary:
The CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the company, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic alignment with organizational goals. This role requires extensive financial expertise, a strong understanding of the online gambling industry, and a track record of success in financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
• Lead efforts to optimize financial performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, statements, and audits.
• Manage relationships with banks, payment providers, auditors, and external stakeholders.

• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure adherence to all Ugandan tax laws, financial regulations, and online gambling compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement robust financial controls.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are highly desirable.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in the online gambling or gaming industry.

Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax regulations and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• High ethical standards and attention to detail.

Eligibility:
Must be a Ugandan citizen or a current resident of Uganda with legal authorization to work.
