Over the last 18 years we have grown from a single Optometrist on Buganda road to a team of 40 strong across 7 service centres. Established to raise the standard of optometry in Uganda, the company continues to be guided by our core values of Professionalism, Honesty, Quality and Excellence in everything we do.

Leading in the field of Optometry
Mr Anguyo Dralega our founder and Managing director returned from the UK in 2001 to contribute to the development of Optometry in Uganda. Having completed his Masters of Optometry at the University of Bradford in the UK, he returned home to find a fledgeling industry: no regulation, no standards and no accountability. Thus Med-Optics was borne of the conviction that Uganda can and should have high quality, accurate vision care services.
