• Job Summary:
  The Assistant Animal Production Officer will be involved in supporting the animal husbandry programs in the district. This officer will focus on improving livestock production through better management practices and supporting veterinary services for disease control.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in promoting animal husbandry and livestock management practices.
  • Support the implementation of animal production programs aimed at improving meat, milk, and wool production.
  • Provide technical support to farmers on animal breeding, feeding, and health.
  • Work closely with veterinary services to ensure livestock health is maintained.
  • Promote and facilitate training for local farmers in animal production and management.
  • Monitor the implementation of animal production projects and report on their progress.
