JOB DETAILS:
St. Charles Lwanga Buikwe Hospital is a private Not for Profit Hospital (PNFP) owned by the Catholic Diocese of Lugazi and supported by the Archdiocese Caritas Prague of the Czech Republic, and affiliated to the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau.
St. Charles Lwanga Buikwe Hospital is looking for suitable qualified candidates to take up the position of:
Chief Executive Officer
Key responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategic Planning
- Operational Management
- Financial Management
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Human Resources Management
- Community Engagement and Public Relations
- Organizes the work of the Hospital Management Team which he chairs.
- Be the spokesperson of the Hospital with ultimate capacity of committing the hospital to public position.
Job qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized University/Medical School,
- A Master’s Degree in a medical program preferably Surgical/ Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized University.
- Registered with the Uganda Medical council with an up-to-date Annual Practicing License
- A training in health services management shall be an added advantage
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Hospital three of whom one has been in a managerial position.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
