Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to support our Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting the Sales Person to customer locations, assisting with deliveries, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Driving:

• Safely operate a company vehicle to transport the Sales Person to customer locations.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, serviced, fueled, and cleaned.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.

2. Deliveries:

• Assist the Sales Person with deliveries, including loading and unloading cargo.
• Ensure all cargo is properly secured and protected during transport.
• Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures as required.

3. Customer Service:

• Assist the Sales Person with customer interactions, including product demonstrations and sales presentations.

4. Administrative:

• Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, meter reading and vehicle maintenance.
• Submit reports and paperwork as required.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements:

1. Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid driver's license 
• Knowledge of both Manual and Automatic vehicles is a MUST
• Any additional licenses or certifications required by law or company policy

2. Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of driving experience, preferably in a commercial or transportation setting
• Experience with customer service and delivery operations an asset
• MUST be above 35 years of age.

3. Skills:

• MUST be flexible to work upcountry at any given time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a mobile payment device

4. Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and boxes 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent stops and starts
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving

Level of Education: bachelor degree
