Electrician

JOB FUNCTION

Be responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair and patrol inspection of land drilling rig electrical equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out tour inspection of electrical equipment and instruments according to inspection route.
• Carry out electrical repair work strictly according to regulations and operating procedures.
• Maintain electrical equipment according to PMS, strictly follow PMS system, maintain equipment according to maintenance procedures, and make maintenance records.
• Carry out simple repair work in case of electrical equipment failure.
• Participate in the management of all the electrical equipment of the drilling rig to make it run normally, assist the electrician to repair and replace the equipment, troubleshoot simple faults independently to ensure the normal operation of drilling work.
• Manage and use daily electrical hand tools and instruments.
• Assist electrician to turn off or on related equipment after receiving instructions.
• Responsible for transformer room, MCC room, VFD maintenance.
• Cooperate with electrical engineer to complete all kinds of weekly and monthly inspection, and make relevant records carefully.
• Familiar with emergency duties of electrician position.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or above
• Electrician certificate
• 2 years oilfield experience
