Reports to: Director of Infrastructure and Logistics
Number of Posts: 1
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy sector economic analysis to support COMESA’s policies and programs.
- Provide policy recommendations on energy development, investment, and trade.
- Assess the impact of regional and international energy markets on COMESA member states.
- Develop and implement strategies for renewable energy adoption and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with international partners to promote energy infrastructure development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master’s degree in Economics, Energy Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least seven (7) years of experience in energy economics, policy development, or project management.
- Strong analytical skills in energy markets, pricing, and trade.
- Knowledge of renewable energy, climate change policies, and sustainable development.
