Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Risk Intern with a strong background in IT and cybersecurity to support our Risk & Compliance team. The role involves regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, data analytics, and risk management. This internship offers valuable exposure to the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in IT security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and control gaps.
• Support compliance monitoring with regulations (e.g., NPS Act, PDPO, FIA) and standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST).
• Participate in third-party vendor risk assessments.
• Help ensure secure handling of customer data in line with data protection laws.
• Assist in internal audits and IT compliance reviews.
• Monitor and document cybersecurity incidents.
• Contribute to IT compliance training and awareness programs.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and regulatory changes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field (recently completed).
• Strong interest in compliance and risk management.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Knowledge of IT security principles: network security, encryption, access controls, etc.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, with good problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with GRC tools is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
