INVITATION FOR BIDS FROM PROVIDERS OF SERVICES FOR THE PMI EVOLVE PROJECT ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR 2023 TO 2024
1. Freight Forwarding and Shipment Clearance

3. Provision of Fuel for Project Vehicles
4. Waste Management (Incineration, Landfilling, Paper Recycling and Plastics Recycling)
In December 2022, U.S. President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) awarded Abt Associates Inc the PMI Evolve Project. The PMI Evolve Project will support PMI and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) missions and bureaus with the planning, implementing, and monitoring of malaria vector control programs in 21 countries. PMI Evolve is building on the prior projects' IRS, ITN, and larval source management (LSM) activities and entomological monitoring. The new project is strengthening the capacity of local institutions, including national malaria programs, district health offices, and research institutions, to independently conduct vector control programs. PMI Evolve is also responsible for program evaluation and conducting
operations research on new vector control innovations. The project is incorporating gender equity and social inclusion (GESI) and climate change initiatives as cross-cutting themes with the overall goal of ending malaria faster in Eastern Uganda.
Abt Associates Inc. now invites suitable qualified and interested reputable firms to submit sealed bids for services for the USAID funded PMI Evolve Project, as listed below:
A. Supplies:
1. Vehicle Tyres
2. Bottled Water
3. Electronics (megaphones, batteries size AAA and D)
C. Consultancy
1. Environmental Audit
2. Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO BIDDERS
(a) All applications should be accompanied by the following
Certificate of Incorporation Certificate of Registration
Valid Trading/Operating License
(b) Request for the Request for Quotations (RFQs/ RFPs) from Kampala Office at PMI Evolve Project, Plot 86 Luthuli Avenue, Bugolobi, Kampala starting from Tuesday 31 October 2023 to November 3 2023, between 9:00am and 2:00pm.
(c) Deadline for submission will be indicated in the RFQs and RFPs.
(d) Documents in properly sealed envelopes clearly marked with title of goods/services to be provided should be submitted to the office address above as per timelines in the RFQ document.
