JOB TITLE: Mechanic

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be responsible for carrying out maintenance operations in strict accordance with rules and regulations and operating procedures.
• Implement the PMS system under the guidance of the mechanic, make daily work records and all maintenance records, maintain the equipment, and make various maintenance records to ensure that the contents are true and the time is accurate.
• Be responsible for assisting the mechanic in maintenance work in case of equipment failure.
• Be responsible for the supervision of hot work, strictly implement the responsibilities of supervisor, and ensure the safety of hot work site.
• Assist the machinist in the management of rig equipment data, certificates, maintenance reports and other documents, timely update and keep them in good condition, and establish accounts for all equipment of the drilling crew for tracking.
• Be responsible for assisting the mechanic to carry out periodic test run and planned maintenance of unused equipment and tools, so as to make the equipment and tools available at any time.
• Be responsible for putting forward reasonable suggestions for some old or unreasonable facilities on the rig, and assisting the mechanic in maintenance, renovation or rectification.
• Be responsible for assisting the mechanic to fill in the equipment operation and maintenance records, so that the filling contents are detailed and true, and the time is accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or above in Mechanical and electrical related majors.
• 3 years oilfield experience.
