About the client
Our client in the Telecommunication sector seeks to recruit a suitably qualified candidate to fill the vacancy above.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for BSS applications and product operations.
• Troubleshoot issues, capture logs, and identify root causes for BSS application problems.
• Communicate with clients regarding technical aspects of the applications.
• Fulfill new function or business improvement requirements through product configuration.
• Maintain Linux backend/file system, perform database analysis, and install new application patches/releases.
• Install, configure, and maintain testing beds, working with other IT vendors as needed.
• Monitor and reconcile database performance to predefined thresholds and take appropriate actions.
• Implement established policies and procedures for database management.
• Perform application automation and script writing, and maintain IT operation tools.
• Ensure accurate documentation of standards, guidelines, and procedures for application management.
• Train new employees on basic troubleshooting methods.
• Prepare system health and performance reports.
• Implement and support audit and compliance regulations.

Education, Skills, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science.
• Minimum 2 years of IT industry experience, with at least 1 year in billing/charging on telecom systems.
• Experience with Oracle or MSSQL databases.
• Proficiency in operating systems (Linux, UNIX, or AIX).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, or Java.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to provide 24x7 service supervision through urgent office support and on-call support.
