Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking experienced Onboard Computer (OBC) Controller for a client in the oil and gas sector. The role is responsible for real-time fleet tracking, OBC data analysis, violation management, and coordination with internal and external teams to maintain safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all fleet vehicles are equipped with functional onboard computer (OBC) systems and monitor their performance.
- Track vehicle movements in real time and maintain accurate OBC data to ensure full compliance.
- Identify, report, and follow up on OBC violations, providing daily and periodic trend reports.
- Coordinate OBC maintenance and repairs with service providers to ensure system reliability.
- Monitor in-cabin and fatigue camera systems, triggering alerts and addressing safety violations.
- Maintain up-to-date records of vehicle status, including availability, maintenance, and location tracking.
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to support vehicle readiness, journey planning, and efficiency.
- Adhere to HSE standards by reporting incidents, participating in safety programs, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field with focus in IT.
- 2 years of experience in motor vehicle electronics, mechanics, or computer and camera control is a plus.
- Proven experience in transport operations with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, result-driven, and self-motivated.
- Strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and commitment to safety.
