- Plan and manage all procurement and disposal activities in the district.
- Ensure compliance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (PPDA).

- Work closely with suppliers, service providers, and district departments to ensure efficient procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Implement transparency and accountability measures to prevent corruption in procurement.
- Conduct market surveys to ensure cost-effectiveness in procurement.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of procurement laws and procedures in Uganda.
- At least three years of relevant working experience in procurement.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
