East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) LTD ("EACOP LTD") is developing a crude oil export pipeline to enable the transportation of crude oil from the inlet flange at Kabaale in Hoima District in Uganda to the Chongoleani peninsula near Tanga port in Tanzania. The land for the pipeline is 1,443 km.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE (SPECIFICATIONS)

EACOP LTD invites the submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the supply of hand tools to be used by students in a workshop setting. The scope includes:

• Bench working tools: Hammers, chisels, punches, files, hacksaws, and vices
• Measuring tools: Vernier calipers, micrometers, rulers, tape measures, and squares
• Cutting tools: Saws, snips, shears, and bolt cutters
• Fastening tools: Screwdrivers, spanners, pliers, and wrenches
• Drilling tools: Hand drills, drill bits, and reamers
• Finishing tools: Sandpaper, wire brushes, and scrapers
• Safety equipment: Gloves, goggles, and ear protection
• Tool storage: Toolboxes and cabinets
• Other tools: Levels, plumb bobs, and marking tools

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate of Incorporation, Trading license, and Memorandum and Articles of Association
• Proof of registration to the National Supplier Database (NSD)
• Proof of registration with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) and Tax Clearance Certificate for the current year
• Compliance with the Petroleum Midstream National Content Regulations, 2016
• The required equipment must be in a timely manner
• Audited financial statements for the last three years
• Proof of financial capacity to deliver the scope
• Proof of signed Anti-corruption, Anti-bribery, Compliance and Human Rights policies
• Evidence of similar experience in the supply of hand tools

Deadline for submission of EOI is by 16:00hrs East African Time (EAT) on 16th April 2025

Statement: EOI should be no more than ten (10) pages

All Expression of Interests should be submitted in English Language

NOTE: EACOP LTD will review and assess the documents provided by companies that have expressed interest in accordance with this EOI and conduct an evaluation. Only prequalified companies will be contacted for the tendering process. EACOP LTD reserves the right to reject any EOI or cancel the tendering process without assigning any reason to any company concerned.
