Job Summary:

Responsible for providing legal and governance support to the Board and Management, ensuring compliance with corporate governance best practices and statutory requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review legal documents and reports for the Board
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance and compliance issues
• Coordinate Board meetings and ensure timely distribution of materials
• Maintain statutory registers and records
• Support the drafting of Board resolutions and minutes

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice
• Enrollment as an Advocate of the High Court
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a legal or governance role, preferably in a corporate or government entity

Competencies and Skills:

• Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks
• Excellent legal drafting and advisory skills
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities
• High integrity and attention to detail

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: bachelor degree
