Description
Xclusive Uganda is hiring a Stores Attendant to manage and control stock in stores so that materials, tools, or products are available when needed, properly recorded, and safely stored.Uganda Career Blog
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality
- Record and update stock levels in inventory systems or stock cards
- Store items in an orderly and safe manner according to procedures
- Issue materials and supplies against authorized requisitions
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist in inventory audits
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or obsolete stock
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stores area
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and company policies
- Assist in loading and unloading of goods when required
- Prepare inventory reports and support stock reconciliation
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors/Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field.
- A minimum experience of 2 to 3 years working in related field.
- Experience in stores management is an added advantage.
- Strong computer skills.
- Familiar with MS Excel /Inventory software/ERP systems.
- Record keeping and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle physical stock
- Being attentive, with integrity, paying attention to details, cooperative, and able to follow instructions.
- Being flexible, good written and oral communication skills in English language.
