Our mission is to resource disability justice activists and organisations, promote lived-experience leadership, and influence fairness in funding so that disability justice movements thrive.

You will manage a new team (including heads of grantmaking, learning and impact, and the Disability Rights Leadership Programme) and shape this unit as our strategy evolves.
Key Responsibilities

- Ensure lessons learned shape future strategies.
Resource Mobilisation
- Work with the Director of Funding to cultivate new funding opportunities.

This is a Level 3 post due to regular access to children/vulnerable adults. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring safeguarding is integrated in all work.
- Complying with and promoting ADD’s safeguarding policies.
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns.
- Undergoing regular police checks as required.
Person Specification
- Strategic leadership skills and the ability to execute strategy.
- Proven track record in grant portfolio management or movement building.
- Experience working with disability justice organisations.
- Ideally, experience in participatory grantmaking.
- Strong team leadership and management capabilities.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Deep understanding of social justice, equity, and disability rights in the Global South.
- Budget oversight and financial literacy.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices.
