Job Summary
This role focuses on developing and executing business strategies aligned with company goals, including expanding market share, increasing revenue, and acquiring new clients. The Business Development Manager oversees sales and marketing efforts, fosters client relationships, and identifies opportunities for product/service innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement business growth strategies for general, life, and medical insurance.
- Identify new business opportunities and forge strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and tailor insurance solutions accordingly.
- Provide strategic input on product development and market expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Market Analysis: Expertise in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Proven ability to maintain and develop strong relationships with clients.
- Sales and Marketing: Strong skills in direct marketing, sales inquiry follow-up, and creating marketing offers.
- Leadership and Team Development: Effective in appraising staff performance, identifying training needs, and mentoring team members.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and internal stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in insurance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of general, life, and medical insurance.
- Proven experience in insurance business development.
- Ability to create and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship skills.
