Role Summary:

Our client, a reputable educational institution with over 20 years of dedicated service, seeks to recruit competent and experienced Secondary School Teachers for Science Subjects. The teachers will deliver quality education in science subjects, prepare students for national examinations, and support the school's academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Science subjects (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics).
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and performance through examinations and continuous assessments.
  • Prepare students for national examinations (KCSE).
  • Maintain accurate student records, reports, and documentation.
  • Participate in co-curricular and school activities.
  • Support the school's academic and holistic development goals.
  • Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning.
  • Stay updated on curriculum changes and teaching methodologies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education (Science) or a related field.
  • TSC registration is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Kenyan secondary school curriculum.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and professional skills.
  • Passion for teaching and student development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
