JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose:
The Senior Consumer Experience Specialist is responsible for understanding KMC business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting Consumer Research, interviews, and surveys, and translating them into Empathy Maps, and Value Proposition Canvases to Inform Marketing and Product Design.

Report to: Principal Consumer Experience Specialist
Direct Reports: Consumer Experience Specialist

Key Functions:
• Translate concepts into Empathy Maps, and Value Proposition Canvases that lead to intuitive consumer experiences.
• Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions and make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in management of the activities within the Department by providing technical guidance, project management and leadership and performance monitoring.
• Lead, mentor, develop, coach, train and appraise subordinates and peers to help them be successful in their roles and to progress in their skills and abilities.
• Develop and implement Monthly Work Plans necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities and Performance Reports detailing all consumer experience related aspects within the company.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Industrial Design, Architecture, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Related Field from a recognized Institution.
• Master’s Degree in Customer Experience Management, Marketing and Sales, Design, Technology Policy and Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Management or Related Field from a recognized Institution.

Minimum Experience
General working experience of at least Three (3) years; with demonstrated knowledge in mobility product and market research in a reputable organization for at least Two (2) years.
