JOB DETAILS:
Sales Manager at Benam Agencies Uganda Ltd to undertake to promote and sale the company's clearing and forwarding, and transport services:
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. Sales Revenue Growth: Increase sales revenue from existing and new clients.
2. Customer Acquisition: Expand the customer base by acquiring new clients.
3. Customer Retention: Maintain and grow business from existing clients.
4. Market Share: Increase market share in the clearing and forwarding, and transport industry.
Sales Manager Responsibilities
1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement effective sales strategies to promote the company's services.
2. Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients, partnerships, and business opportunities.
3. Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
4. Conduct Sales Presentations: Deliver presentations to clients and potential clients to showcase the company's services.
5. Negotiate and Close Deals: Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.
6. Collaborate with Operations Team: Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of services.
7. Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Track and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
8. Develop and Manage Sales Budget: Create and manage the sales budget to ensure alignment with company goals.
Industry-Specific Responsibilities
1. Clearing and Forwarding Services: Promote and sell clearing and forwarding services, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, and logistics solutions.
2. Transport Services: Promote and sell transport services, including road, air, and sea transportation.
3. Warehouse and Storage Services: Promote and sell warehouse and storage services, including bonded and non-bonded warehouse facilities.
4. Supply Chain Solutions: Promote and sell supply chain solutions, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution services.
Skills and Qualifications
1. degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
2. Sales and Marketing Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of sales and marketing experience in the logistics or transportation industry.
3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the clearing and forwarding, and transport industry.
4. Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
