JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Salesperson is responsible for driving sales by identifying customer needs, presenting products or services, and closing deals. They play a key role in achieving revenue targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement:
o Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
o Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
o Provide detailed information about product features, benefits, and pricing.
2. Sales Process:
o Actively prospect and generate leads to expand the customer base.
o Conduct product demonstrations or presentations to showcase value.
o Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
o Upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to maximize revenue.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
o Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
o Maintain a database of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools.
4. Market Awareness:
o Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
o Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and market demands.
5. Administrative Tasks:
o Process sales orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
o Maintain a clean and organized sales area or showroom.
o Collaborate with the inventory or logistics team to ensure product availability.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
2. Experience:
o Proven experience in sales or customer service (industry-specific experience is preferred).
o Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is an advantage.
3. Skills:
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
o Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Monthly/quarterly sales targets achieved.
• Customer satisfaction ratings.
• Number of new leads generated and converted.
• Average transaction value and upsell/cross-sell rates.
