BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING
NPS & KPS Blasting and Painting of screens and gates (lots 1 & 2) for Nalubaale and Kiira Power Stations

Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for the procurement described below:
Blasting and Painting of screens and gates (lots 1 & 2) for Nalubaale and Kiira Power Stations
The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above Supplies.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended, and Regulations 2014 and is open to
all bidders.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at (7) from 9:00am-4:00pm. (Monday to Friday)
The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below at (7) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be in the bank on Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited, Stanbic Bank A/C No. 9030011177327 upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at (7) at or before 11:00am of Thursday 9th November, 2023. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 20,000,000 (Uganda shillings twenty Million
only) for Lot 1 and 15,000,000/-(Uganda Shillings fifteen Million only) for Lot 2. The Bid Security must be valid until 21st June, 2024. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (7) at 11:30am, Thursday 9th November, 2023.

e. Display and Within 5 working days from communication Contracts Committee approval of best of evaluation report f. Contract evaluated signature After expiry of at least bidder notice 10 working days from display of the best evaluated bidder notice and Attorney General's approval
