JOB DETAILS:
The purpose of this job is to participate in projects implementations. Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Consultant will be expected to deliver on assigned tasks in the expected time and with the expected quality in several projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities;
• Lead the delivery of a broad type of consulting assignments which include business continuity management, enterprise risk management, data protection and privacy, and information security management.
• Act as a client’s trusted advisor in the area of expertise.
• Manage stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
• Document recommendations to effectively communicate information internally and to clients.
• Anticipate and communicate project risks and find solutions for them.
• Maintain a high degree of awareness of the current risk consulting landscape.
• Keep abreast with relevant news and trends with a view of improving Sentinel’s service offering.
• Lead delivery, and support others in the delivery, of knowledge sharing in the organisation as well as in the industry as thought leaders in risk management.
• Create and present customer reports to ensure quality, accuracy, and value to the Client.
• Conduct on-site work with clients as required.
• Participate in multiple project assignments concurrently and ensure quality of works and that client objectives are met.
• Mentor and train interns and associates in the Projects department on the Sentinel products.
• Conduct both commercial and inhouse training.
• Uphold and improve the project management process at Sentinel Africa in all implementations.
• Manage relationships with both internal and external project stakeholders.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• When called upon, develop proposals for new projects based on client requests,
• Work with the department head to implement new and improved process and operations.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree.
• Experience level: Mid level
• Experience length: 2 – 4 years’ proven work experience in the field.
• Must have relevant certifications in information security, data privacy, business continuity and risk management implementation and auditing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Excellent project management, planning and presentation skills.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
