JOB DETAILS:
Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited, a subsidiary of The Mehta Group of Companies, is one of Uganda's leading sugar producers. We are looking for highly skilled and experienced individuals to join our team.

Vacancy: 1 Position (Full-Time/Part-Time)
Location: Lugazi, Uganda

Key Responsibilities
The Editorial Executive will play a crucial role in the company’s communication and editorial strategy, including but not limited to:
• Developing, editing, and proofreading internal and external communications.
• Preparing engaging content for newsletters, reports, and marketing materials.
• Managing the editorial calendar and ensuring timely delivery of all publications.
• Supporting the design and execution of public relations and corporate branding campaigns.
• Collaborating with internal departments to produce high-quality communication materials.
• Staying updated on media trends and ensuring the company maintains a consistent tone and style across platforms.

Qualifications and Experience Required
Education:
• A Degree or Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field is required.
Experience:
• 8–10 years of proven experience in a similar or related editorial role, preferably within a corporate or media organization.
Skills and Competencies:
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with publishing and editing tools.
• Knowledge of media trends, public relations, and corporate communication practices.
