Job Summary:
The Headteacher will provide effective, dynamic, and inspirational leadership to enable the PEAS school to fulfill its agreed Education outcomes, you will provide strategic leadership and professional management for the school. To secure success and drive improvements in your PEAS school, you will ensure high quality education and personalized learning is delivered for all its students and drive high standards and achievement in all areas of the school’s work.
Key Responsibilities
- Drives outreach efforts with the SSSO to boost student enrolment and promote PEAS School’s mission to the community.
- Leads education management by setting high performance expectations, supporting staff development, and overseeing lesson observations and performance evaluations.
- Fosters a positive school culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous learning, while promoting participative leadership and decision-making.
- Oversees compliance and leadership, ensuring adherence to government regulations and acting as a liaison with education stakeholders.
- Manages school finances jointly with the SSSO, including budgeting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting.
Experience and Qualifications.
- A bachelor’s degree in education from a recognized University / Institution
- Registered as a Graduate Teacher with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ teaching experience in a Secondary School, five (5) of which should be at the level of a substantive Head Teacher or any Leadership role.
