REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR HEALTH COMMODITY NATIONAL TRACE AND TRACE SITUATION ASSESSMENT AND STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is an international non-governmental organization working to strengthen health systems and services worldwide; to save lives and improve health by closing the gap between knowledge and action in public health. In Uganda Management Sciences for Health is implementing USAID funded activities that include the Strengthening Supply Chain Systems (SSCS) Activity.

The Pharmaceutical Sector Services Strategic plan 2020/21 -2024/25, the 10-year health supply chain roadmap 2021/2022-2031/2032, and the National Drug Authority Strategic plan 2020-2025 provide guidance for development and implementation of traceability standards for Uganda. Global Traceability standards systems such as G$1 provide a foundation for global business communications for product and location identification, data capture, and data sharing, and are an enabler to more efficient and effective healthcare supply chain and service delivery.

The purpose of this consultancy is to undertake a health commodity track and trace situational analysis, define scope and develop a joint vision for tracking and tracing commodities using global standards.
