JOB DETAILS:
African Hearts Junior School, located in Ssenge, Wakiso, is seeking qualified, dedicated, and experienced Upper Primary Teachers to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of young learners in a nurturing and professional academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across primary-level subjects in line with the curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to support the academic and personal growth of all students.
• Develop and implement lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools to meet educational standards.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events to promote student participation and development.
• Mentor and guide students to build character, confidence, and leadership skills.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to enhance teaching strategies and classroom management.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• A minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience at the upper primary level.
• A teaching qualification, such as a Diploma in Education or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, is required.
• Candidates with previous experience in leadership roles within a school setting (e.g., Head Teacher, Academic Coordinator) will have an added advantage.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and working with children.
