JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The Programme Scheduler is responsible for planning and organizing TV/radio program schedules to meet audience needs and business objectives. The role involves coordinating with production, sales, and editorial teams to optimize content delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for programs, commercials, and promos.
• Ensure strategic placement of programs to maximize viewership and audience retention.
• Monitor programming trends and audience ratings to inform scheduling decisions.
• Coordinate with content, sales, and production teams to balance commercial requirements and programming flow.
• Update schedules in response to breaking news, special events, or last-minute changes.
• Maintain accurate records of programming schedules and ensure compliance with broadcast regulations.
• Generate reports on program performance and recommend scheduling improvements.
• Support digital teams with scheduling content for online platforms where necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Media, Communications, or related field.
• Professional: Certification in Media Management is an added advantage.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in programming or scheduling for TV/radio.
