JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The Studio Director will oversee the execution of live and recorded productions, ensuring high-quality output and seamless studio operations. This role involves directing the production team, coordinating technical resources, and managing all aspects of studio productions to meet editorial and creative standards.

Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee and direct live studio shows, pre-recorded programs, and special events.
• Manage all studio activities, including camera operations, lighting, audio, and set design to ensure high production standards.
• Coordinate with producers, editors, and technical teams to execute the creative and technical vision.
• Ensure all broadcast deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational challenges to minimize downtime.
• Provide leadership to the studio crew, including training, performance management, and workflow optimization.
• Ensure compliance with production guidelines, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Collaborate with editorial, content, and technical leads to innovate and enhance the visual appeal of productions.
• Stay updated with advancements in studio equipment and broadcast technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production, Broadcast Media, or a related field.
• Professional: Certification in Studio/TV Production is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in directing live TV or studio-based productions.

Core Competencies:
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in studio technology, including cameras, lighting, and switchers.
• Ability to manage teams in high-pressure, live-production environments.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and production aesthetics.
• Familiarity with multi-camera workflows and broadcast technology trends.
